How to Make Delicious, Marinated Salmon! You Will Love!
Marinated Salmon is Delicious and So Very Good For You!
Salmon, in one form or another, is on my weekly menu planner. It’s so good for your overall health. It is proven to reduce inflammation. And, the omega-3 fats found in this fish is especially good for your skin! And, I have read that salmon could even protect you against skin cancer.
We all know, that what we eat is so terribly important to our overall health!
So, I’ve tried a few salmon recipes in my day. I’ve made my share of complicated salmon recipes and easy ones. And, this Marinated Salmon recipe is clearly one of my favorites and my go-to salmon recipe.
It’s a favorite partly because I typically have all the ingredients on hand. And, convenience is extremely important when you live 25 minutes from the nearest good-sized grocery store.
It’s also super quick to assemble. It just takes a few minutes to put together the marinade and wrap up the salmon in foil.
But, most importantly, it’s a favorite because it just tastes DELICIOUS!
I’ve served this dish to guests only to have them call me later to get the recipe.
It’s a fail-proof dish as long as you use fresh salmon and don’t over marinade it! If you do over marinade, you’ll end up with a mushy fish and, trust me from experience; mushy fish is NOT good! So, stick to the one-hour marinating time in the directions, and it will turn out perfectly fine!
Oh, one more tip, try not to over bake it. You want the salmon flaky when tested with a fork. I typically check the salmon after it has baked in the oven about 30 – 35 minutes. If it’s flaky in the middle, I take it out.
I expect that this salmon would also be delicious if you grilled it outside. I’ve never tried it that way, but I suspect that it would be great.
I made this dish today and served it to my husband. He loved it.
I accompanied the salmon with Kathryn’s red cabbage and apple salad. (If you haven’t tried Kathryn’s red cabbage recipe you’re missing out. It’s so good!)
Anyway, enjoy the recipe!
